Hello, I have been disabled for 19 years, female, and this is the first time during those years that I have been taking care of by myself only. I live solely off of Social Security Benefits, It is hard to make ends meet, but I am grateful that I can provide a roo over my head thus far. Besides my disability, I also was diagnosed with a learning disability, and I have been trying to acquire a GED credential so that I may study law. This is not for a career, (I probably would not be qualified for the tasks), I just want to learn. I live in Washington State now alone without any family members or any friends that wil not take advantage of me.I have been enrolled at Skagit Valley College for a year.
I am not quite sure of which catagory(ies) of grants which I qualify for: (1) I definitely have to move out of my apartmet by May 2008, my mental health can no longer take the environment, and the rent keeps rising where after paying all my bills, I have less than $100 until my next social security check arrives on the 3rd of every month. (2) I need a new computer that is up to date to enable me to have access to things which I can not with my ancient machine.(3) I do know that I will be petitioning for an educational grant to cover the numerous expenses. (4) I would like some capital to enable to invest in the bond market. I have been studying for the past month.
